Aspiranet . Are you looking to make a difference in your community by supporting youth and families? As a Bilingual Spanish Child and Family Counselor for Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) in Camarillo, California, you’ll use your education and experience to positively impact a child’s life. You will work one-on-one with at-risk youth and their families in their home or community setting, implementing treatment and intervention plans to provide tools for the youth to thrive in their community. Responsibilities
Travel to clients’ homes or community settings to coach and guide at-risk youth to strengthen their foundation to thrive in daily life. Build strong, positive, caring relationships to create a safe space for clients to share and seek guidance during challenging times. Document and share the status and experiences of treatment and intervention plans with other team members (e.g., social workers, parent partners, program managers, clinicians) to provide the best support for the youth. Meet with clients individually or in family settings, establishing and maintaining trusting relationships. Support clients with goals related to anger management, self-esteem, social skills, impulse control, and resiliency to help maintain placement and reduce hospitalization or juvenile justice involvement. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field. Passion to work 1:1 with families to make a difference. Bi-lingual Spanish preferred for this role. Compensation
$22-$22.50/hour Benefits
