Work side-by-side with experienced field personnel to develop and provide custom solutions such as scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, water treatments, paraffin control and acid stimulation for increased productivity and improved supplier relationships. Create and maintain day-to-day operations to sustain customer accounts. Provide sound technical advice and recommendations of products to customers based on their operational requirements. Routinely collect oilfield samples and analyze data to present to customers. Build and sustain relationships with both current and potential customers. Provide excellent customer service by troubleshooting and quickly resolving issues, maintaining financial and technical portfolios, and keeping customers informed of wellsite performance. Ensure the highest level of safety at all times. Work well independently and in a team environment. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline is preferred. Preferred minimum of 4 years’ oilfield sales experience. Forklift certification preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Education
Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of relevant chemical application experience. Engineering or chemistry background preferred. Desire to continually learn while optimizing customers’ chemical programs. Ability to produce detailed and organized reports. Hands-on personality for equipment and processes; willingness to learn; dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Ability to build relationships throughout the organization; plan for additional resources, set goals and objectives. Manage and direct employees to complete daily job tasks; identify problems in a timely manner; work with a group to develop solutions. Skills & Abilities
Computer Skills:
Advanced computer skills; computer skills may be tested during interview. Customer Service Skills:
Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit feedback to improve service. Work Ethic:
Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible; demonstrate a sincere desire to provide service, follow instructions, and take responsibility for actions; commit to doing the best job possible. Physical Abilities:
Lift and carry 50 pounds; move 55-gallon drums with a drum dolly up to 600 pounds. Other Requirements
