Lead sales activities supporting EPC and engineering firms, including prospecting and network development, with a primary focus on market segments such as data centers, hospitals, hospitality, or water & wastewater, along with other key accounts as determined. Develop and execute the sales approach for every stage of a project across all value chain players (end-user, engineer, procurement, contractor, distributor); develop pull marketing to drive qualified leads and close on opportunities; assume responsibility for profit or loss of each job. Establish long-term relationships with key individuals at target accounts, become a trusted advisor, and provide guidance during the initial design stage; assist with developing project requirements, drawings, and specifications. Be knowledgeable in industry power products (generators, ATS, parallel switchgear, enclosures, etc.), pertinent codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, UL, IBC), and on-site power system design and integration. Oversee preparation and negotiation of quotations for projects from targeted accounts; coordinate with Sales Operations, suppliers, and the distribution network to prepare quotes and preliminary drawings to meet customer requirements; participate in pre-quote project requirement meetings. Location & Travel
Location: Remote Chicago, IL; travel within area approximately 25%. Qualifications & Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without requiring a work visa now or in the future. Experience in selling power systems or related industrial equipment is preferred. Employment Details
