The Head Boys Soccer Coach oversees all aspects of the boys soccer program, including organizing practices, game management, athlete development, and fostering a positive and competitive team culture aligned with the mission and values of Cardinal Ritter College Prep.
Job Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and run all practices and games during the fall season. Teach fundamentals, rules, strategies, and sportsmanship. Supervise assistant coaches and delegate responsibilities appropriately. Maintain and manage equipment and uniforms. Communicate effectively with players, families, administration, and staff. Promote academic achievement and positive behavior among student-athletes. Ensure adherence to school policies and MSHSAA regulations. Organize team meetings, workouts, and film sessions as needed. Coordinate with the athletic department for transportation, scheduling, and facilities. Serve as a mentor and role model for student-athletes. Job Requirements
Previous soccer coaching experience (head coaching preferred). Knowledge of soccer rules, tactics, and training techniques. Strong communication and leadership skills. CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain). MSHSAA certification or eligibility for certification. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
