Adjunct Teaching Position – Clinical Microbiology

invites applications in the Department of Biological Sciences, beginning January 2026. St. Edward's is a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). Candidates should have an interest in and the ability or potential to teach undergraduate courses and support a diverse student body.
Responsibilities
Prepare and teach lecture and laboratory courses in microbiology for Nursing majors (BIOL 2318/2118 Clinical Microbiology). The position is for teaching one lecture (three credits) and two labs (three credits each).
Supervision of undergraduate teaching assistants.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master's degree or a minimum of 18 graduate hours in biology or a related field. A PhD in Microbiology or a related field is preferred.
