Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities:
Report a monthly itinerary to the Regional Sales Director
Report all significant activity in the region to the Regional Sales Director in a timely and accurate manner as it relates to:
Ongoing product performance
Competitive intelligence
Dealer activity
Sales strategy development
New product development
Dealer issues, Customer Service, Technical Service, etc.
Dealer profile updates
Perform quarterly business reviews with dealers
Provide weekly sales forecasts
Resolve sales issues, product service issues, equipment-related issues, and dealer problems promptly and effectively
Travel within the sales region as per the established schedule to maintain and grow business with customers, dealers, national accounts, and end-users.
Dealer Sales Force Management
Develop, motivate, and train the dealer sales force to effectively sell Nilfisk products
Develop relationships with existing and prospective dealers and end-users in the region
Maintain a dealer prospect list and coordinate sales calls to develop new business opportunities
Maintain a customer database
Field Sales Management & End-User Account Development
Maintain a list of the largest end-users in the region
Integrate daily sales activities into MS Outlook calendar
Make daily sales calls on key end-users to drive project starts and increase market share
Track and manage new project starts via Sales Pipeline in SFDC
Conduct building surveys and product demonstrations
Utilize all sales tools and resources for successful project completion
Focus on displacing competitive machinery within dealerships to improve market penetration and develop single-source relationships
Effective Communication
Timely and accurate communication of product information to all dealers
Coordinate sales efforts with Strategic Account Managers
Support product management teams with field tests
Relationship with all Market Segments
Build long-lasting, profitable relationships with dealer partners
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years sales experience in the sanitary supply or related industry, with emphasis on dealer channel management and end-user sales
Knowledge & Personal Attributes:
Strong work ethic, initiative, and problem-solving skills
Maturity and business acumen
Strong selling and account management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office and Sales Force
Effective time and territory management
Willingness to travel overnight and transport products for demonstrations
Ability to conduct product seminars and presentations
Physical ability to perform job duties

Benefits
Competitive compensation including health benefits, 401K, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, and more. Salary range: $73,700 - $98,300 annually, plus bonuses and company vehicle.
