Answering the phone and handling inquiries in a courteous manner. Processing sales transactions using a point-of-sale system and handling cash and other forms of payment. Maintaining proper cash drawer balances. Directing guests to areas/restrooms and maintaining a clean, organized store. Demonstrating product knowledge and identifying guests’ needs through 1-on-1 conversations. Suggestive selling using proven techniques to promote related or higher-quality items. Maintaining stock levels and displaying products according to visual standards. Opening, closing, and side duties (cleaning, polishing, sweeping, etc.). Ensuring guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences. Engaging guests to create “Raving Fans.” Qualifications Skills: Remaining calm in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills; attention to detail; friendly demeanor toward guests. Experience, education, and certifications are not specified beyond the required skills. Physical Demands Ability to move throughout the store and cafe during shifts (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods. Ability to sit for extended periods; repetitive arm/hand/wrist movements; manual dexterity. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds; occasional twisting and turning; exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud environments. Ability to travel via auto or airplane for long periods as needed. Additional Requirements Maintaining a well-groomed appearance and following uniform guidelines. Practicing general safety and sanitation standards; recycling where possible.
