Our Inside Sales Representatives are more than customer service pros—they’re strategic growth drivers. In this hybrid role based in Salt Lake City, you’ll be selling our core products – pipe, tubing and bar, while uncovering new business opportunities, closing deals and building lasting customer relationships across the northwest region. You’ll Thrive In This Role If You’re a natural prospector—always on the lookout for new leads and growth opportunities. You’re results-driven and motivated by hitting (and exceeding) sales targets. You follow through on commitments and don’t stop until the deal is closed. You’re adaptable and quick to pivot based on market trends or customer feedback. You bring positive energy, persistence, and a competitive spirit to everything you do. What You Will Do Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and territories. Build and maintain strong customer relationships with existing accounts as their trusted point of contact. Negotiate pricing and close inbound and outbound sales opportunities with contractual and transactional customers. Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and contract expansion. Ensure sales targets (dollars, gross profit, volume) are met while maintaining strong margins. Provide accurate quotes, follow up, and close orders. Coordinate, expedite, and track shipments for on-time delivery. Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to position Marmon/Keystone as the supplier of choice. Maintain optimal inventory levels for top accounts. Work across departments to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues. What Success Looks Like You consistently exceed sales targets and contribute to regional growth. Customers view you as a trusted advisor, not just a sales rep. You uncover and close new business opportunities that others might miss. You collaborate effectively across teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. What You Will Bring To The Role Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Sales experience in steel or a related industry is preferred. 2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer success. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High emotional intelligence and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Analytical skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
