Counter Sales , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though that’s a plus) – a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you aim to build a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, want full or part-time work, or are exploring other career paths within our company.
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
Using your parts knowledge to assist team members and customers
Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
Bringing customer focus and energy to our fast-paced stores
Welcoming retail customers and ensuring a positive experience
Using technology, including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks
Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you don’t already have experience
Want to grow your career within a team that values development and opportunity
What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
Strong listening skills and empathy for customers
Additional Qualifications (Not Required but a Plus)
Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, marine, or dealership
Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems
Customer-centric mindset
ASE Certifications
