Account Executive

One of the nation’s top E&S wholesale brokerage firms is seeking an E&S Account Executive to join their leading team in the Southwest. This role will support the management of a large book of business across Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, and Oregon. Key Responsibilities Underwriting & Risk Assessment Evaluate complex risks that fall outside standard insurance guidelines. Determine appropriate coverage, pricing, and policy structures. Negotiate terms with brokers and clients. Business Development Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers and agents. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Promote E&S insurance products. Account Management Oversee a portfolio of E&S accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Manage renewals, policy changes, and ongoing service needs. Utilize consultative sales techniques to drive business growth. Develop and execute strategic sales plans. Meet or exceed sales targets. Compliance Ensure adherence to all regulations governing E&S insurance lines. Ideal Candidate Qualifications Insurance Expertise : Strong knowledge of E&S insurance products, underwriting principles, and industry regulations. Sales & Negotiation Skills : Proven track record in insurance sales with excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Relationship Management : Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers and clients. Analytical Ability : Skilled in assessing complex risks and making sound underwriting decisions. Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. Several years of experience in E&S underwriting or sales. Professional designations (e.g., CPCU) are a plus.
