We are seeking an ambitious Senior Engagement Advisor to help deliverour contract for the Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) at SEGROLogistics Park Radlett. Located at the former Radlett Aerodrome site in Hertfordshire, SEGRO LogisticsPark Radlett will deliver a state-of-the-art rail freight terminal completewith extensive distribution warehouses and over 600 acres of enhanced greenspace. The development aims to shift freight transportation from road to rail,significantly reducing carbon emissions and road congestion. Construction is anticipated to take place over the next three years. The scheme also promises numerous community and environmental benefits,including biodiversity net gain, employment and training opportunities, andintegrated transport improvements.
Role Requirements:
Support the development of a stakeholder engagement strategy for the company/project.
Assist in developing and delivering effective stakeholder engagement plans for the company/project.
Engage proactively with the interface and delivery teams to review construction impacts and minimise effects on stakeholders.
Give support to promote a positive image of the company/project and raise public awareness of the benefits of the company/project.
Assist in the management and the delivery of community engagement events, supporting the projects by drafting materials, undertaking event management, e.g. drop-ins and exhibitions.
Responsible for coordinating external information and messaging via the full range of media channels.
Build and nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders, adding value to the delivery of the project, by being a good neighbour and embedding ourselves in the community.
Assist in identifying potentially sensitive situations and report them appropriately within the company/project and client’s teams.
Review and assess the nature of complaints, queries, compliments and third-party issues to report on performance matters and recommend measures for improvement.
Supervise the keeping of statistical evidence of performance to contractual standards, and report regularly. Lead proactive involvement with local education establishments and interest groups.
Support the company/projects compliance with the legal and requirements/commitments, assisting on delivering compliance for all stakeholder-related requirements/commitments.
Engage proactively with local education establishments and interest groups, and work with colleagues in Skills, Education & Employment to identify opportunities for the community.
Assist with the delivery of the company/project’s Community Investment programme, working with colleagues to realise investment in legacy projects.
Proactively engage in wider company/project activities, supporting collaborative opportunities and sharing best practice and lessons learned.
