Our client, a large financial services company, is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join their Travel & Expense team for a 12+ month contract assignment in Charlotte, NC. This role is hybrid so candidates must be local. The AP/T&E Associate ensures proper routing of invoices to the global team and compliance with AP and T&E financial transaction recording standards (e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.). May help reconcile the company\'s accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.). Works well with others and closely with business areas executive administrative team members on both the AP and T&E processes. Will assist the team in updating, maintaining, and documenting new procedures and policies that impacts the company. Key Responsibilities and Duties
Monitor and enforce compliance with company AP and T&E policies. Analyze AP and T&E spend data and provide insights to drive cost savings and improve processes. Assist in administering and supporting AP and T&E systems. Resolve escalated reimbursement issues and policy violations. Collaborate with vendors, card providers, and internal stakeholders. Support audits and regulatory reporting related to AP and T&E. Assist building reports for business leaders and finance teams. May help oversee the completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to AP and T&E operations, account reconciliations and including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities. Requirements
1+ years of AP or Invoice experience Required; 3+ years Preferred SAP, Concur and PeopleSoft AP experience helpful, not required Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, Word & SharePoint) Pay Rate: $18.59 - $20.59/hour Equal Opportunity Employer
