About the Job: This role involves analysis, design, and consulting support. You will develop an understanding of our clients’ strategic direction, issues, and project goals, bridging user functionality and system development. You will assist in documenting, evaluating, and translating business architectures and needs into IT applications. Experience with consulting methodologies in financial services or energy (strategy, business case development, process mapping, project lifecycle, requirements gathering, competitive assessment) is essential. What You’ll Get to Do
Prepare, facilitate, document, and participate in client meetings/workshops, conducting structured gathering, research, and analysis Develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements, and functional specifications to identify gaps between current and future state Document business data, application, and technology architectures Document and resolve software defects while ensuring technical compatibility and end-user satisfaction Analyze, develop, and propose improvements to business processes, reports, and applications to optimize system effectiveness Conduct customer interviews and produce meeting summaries Perform market/client research and industry requirement analysis Produce high-quality consulting deliverables (proposals, presentations, reports) to communicate project findings Develop reusable intellectual capital in the form of methodology, templates, blueprints, and business cases Basic scripting and project planning What You’ll Bring with You
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst Experience with the OpenLink implementation and configuration to match requirements (must have) Experience working in a management consulting environment preferred Energy/Utilities background is a plus Strong business analysis skills: gathering requirements, process mapping, and defining functional specifications Experience leading client teams through testing and training, and successful go-live cutover Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide user support Proven experience writing project proposals and planning/executing related projects Bachelor’s degree required; majors in MIS, CS, Finance, Economics, Business or Financial Engineering preferred; advanced degree desirable Why Capco?
