Requirements

I require a mandatory Appian L3 certification.

You should have a minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 5-7 years dedicated to delivering solutions using Appian.

Experience in evaluating and utilizing both mainstream and emerging technological advancements, particularly in AI, analytics, and automation/robotics, is essential to effectively transform or enhance business designs.

Expert-level proficiency with Appian versions 16x/17x/18x/19x, and the capability to write complex Appian SAIL code rather than solely relying on drag-and-drop features.

A strong understanding of Appian Objects, such as Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Sites, Actions, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, CDTs, Process Models, Decisions, Integrations, Connected Systems, Data Stores, and Groups is also required.

Responsibilities

I will provide comprehensive design guidance, oversight, and management of issues throughout the project lifecycle.

I will oversee the requirements gathering process and ensure clear interpretation of infrastructure impacts across the portfolio pipeline.

My role includes clarifying project requirements as needed and ensuring that all teams comprehend the business rationale behind them.

I will guide teams through design challenges and oversee design and implementation reviews, participating actively and leading where appropriate to ensure operational readiness before projects move into production.

I will review the final target architecture and design, collaborate with architecture and development teams during business planning sessions, and evaluate existing solutions while addressing issues and gaps related to resiliency, risk, and performance.

Additionally, I will provide technological guidance to inform strategic plans and align with business strategies.

Company This position is available as a full-time or contract role, offering a pay range of $100.00 – $130.00 per hour. The work will be hybrid remote, based in Washington, DC 20005. Candidates must be able to commute to Washington, DC, and are required to relocate before starting work if not already situated in the area.
