Prosperity Bank . Position Purpose:
Responsible for analyzing credit and financial reports to assess risk involved in loaning money or extending credit. Essential Functions and Duties:
Analyze commercial financial statements for prospective and existing loan customers. Perform financial analysis and basic underwriting of loan packages, including trend, equity, ratio analysis, loan structuring, collateral, guarantor analysis, and calculating Global Debt Service Coverage. Review existing commercial loans. Recommend credit grades based on borrower creditworthiness and loan performance. Identify documentation exceptions and evaluate underwriting. Conduct CRE Stress Test Analysis. Review Rent Rolls, Construction Budgets, Pro Forma Statements, Feasibility Studies, A/R Aging, Inventory, Equipment, Floor Plan Reports. Prepare Stress Models and Projected Income Scenarios. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance with at least 12 hours of accounting and/or 18 hours of finance. Experience:
Minimum two years banking experience preferred. Skills and Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple transactions, prioritize tasks, interpret complex financial data, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Career Progression:
Opportunity to become a Junior Commercial Lender after completing the two-year Credit Analyst program. Position Details:
Location: Open to relocation within Texas and Oklahoma if necessary. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.
