Finance Manager
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Our client in the eCommerce space is looking for a Finance Manager that will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, treasury operations, and analytical initiatives across multiple business channels. This role blends traditional accounting responsibilities with forward‑looking financial planning and process innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across retail and digital channels.
Own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts. Collaborate with department heads to align financial plans with operational goals and market trends.
Oversee daily cash positioning, banking relationships, and digital payment systems. Ensure liquidity and optimize working capital through proactive treasury operations.
Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs. Provide insights into sales trends, margin performance, and SG&A expenses to guide decision‑making.
Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows using automation tools, AI platforms, and system integrations. Champion continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax filings, and internal controls. Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Partner with Accounting, IT, Operations, and Store Management to align financial systems and reporting. Translate financial data into actionable insights for non‑finance teams.
Evaluate and implement financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools) to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities. Serve as a key stakeholder in system upgrades and integrations.
Maintain oversight of multiple legal entities, ensuring timely documentation, filings, and intercompany reconciliations.
Support and mentor junior finance staff. Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and collaboration within the finance team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in both FP&A and accounting functions.
Strong Excel skills; experience with tools like Sage and interest in automation platforms.
Ability to partner with other departments and retail locations to improve financial literacy and performance.
Comfortable working in a flexible, hybrid environment with opportunities for growth and promotion.
