Our client, a well-established organization in Fresno, CA, is seeking a Controller to lead their accounting and finance operations. The ideal Controller will be hands-on, strategic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As the Controller, you will oversee all day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. The Controller will also be responsible for managing a small team and collaborating with leadership on financial strategy and planning.
Responsibilities Of The Controller
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial statements and internal reports Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets Manage and mentor accounting staff Support audits, tax filings, and banking relationships Partner with executive leadership on forecasting and budgeting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
