Senior Associate - Deals Valuation - Financial Analytics & Derivatives (FAD) At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. In deal valuation at PwC, you will focus on providing analysis and valuation services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. You will help clients make informed decisions by assessing the worth and potential risks of various deals. Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. Embracing increased ambiguity, you are comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, you ask questions, and you use these moments as opportunities to grow. Responsibilities

Lead and participate in client-facing projects and engagements focusing on valuation, financial modelling, derivatives, securities valuation, and risk management. Develop valuation models using methods such as option pricing theory, Monte Carlo simulation, binomial trees, contingent claims analysis, and other financial engineering techniques applied to financial instruments. Identify key assumptions, analyze inputs, and perform sensitivity analyses; translate and communicate technical concepts to clients and staff in a clear, concise manner. Prepare memoranda and reports that communicate findings and recommendations to clients. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding, deal-oriented environment; oversee work streams and guide team members to deliver quality results. Collaborate with project teams to gather market data, challenge assumptions, and assess third-party valuations. Provide written and verbal communications for industry audiences and clients, including whitepapers and practice methodologies. Create a positive team environment, monitor workloads, provide candid feedback, and keep leadership informed of progress. Travel as required by client assignments. Qualifications

Minimum Degree Required:

Master Degree Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and proven success in leading work streams within valuation teams in a professional services environment. Develop valuation models using option pricing theory, Monte Carlo simulation, binomial trees, contingent claims analysis, and other financial engineering techniques for a variety of securities. Lead client-facing projects focusing on financial modelling, derivatives, securities valuation, and risk management; identify assumptions and impact of inputs on valuation models; analyze market data and sensitivities. Prepare concise memoranda and reports communicating findings and recommendations to clients. Perform quantitative and qualitative valuation analyses and modelling using Excel VBA and/or Matlab, and tools such as Bloomberg or Fincad. Role & Experience

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deal-driven environment and to lead work streams within client engagements. Ability to translate complex valuation concepts into clear client communications and documentation. Willingness to travel for client assignments. Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, location, and applicable employment laws.
