Cost Accountant - Lead
Location: South San Antonio Compensation: $78,000 - $88,000

Cost Accountant Responsibilities
Validate and maintain standard costing for: materials, labor, and overhead across all products
Perform month end cost close activities and prepare clear variance analysis with root causes and actions
Reconcile and improve the flow of purchase price and manufacturing variances so they land in the right place
Support annual standard cost updates and ensure underlying assumptions are correct
Monitor inventory valuation and provide insights that improve margin and pricing decisions
Cost Accountant Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar
3+ years of experience GAAP accounting in Manufacturing
Working knowledge of Standard Cost, Variance Analysis and Inventory Accounting
