Overview
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for operating MHEs for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting. Computer data entry is required for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance. The Inventory Associate assists the supervisor/manager in ensuring the facility complies with quality standards. As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality, and to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain accurate warehouse inventory Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues Return material coming from customer to factory Transfer material to the appropriate area Relocate material to maintain inventory range and locations Safe use of all equipment Function autonomously, reporting progress and issues to supervisor/management Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures Maintain records and reports to ensure inventory control and security; conduct physical inventory as required; assist in daily/monthly cycle counts; support shipping/receiving in locating missing items Perform safety audits; report and correct unsafe operations Participate in daily start-up and staff meetings; assist supervision as needed Use PC skills for e-mail and generating reports as required Initiate action to prevent non-conformities and to identify and resolve problems related to product, process and quality system; verify implementation of solutions Review/investigate issues with inbound/outbound functions including unloading, checking, stacking, storing, order pulling, staging, labeling, and loading; notify management when procedures require updates Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area; perform housekeeping audits Other Duties (Site Specific)
Assist leadership as needed Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends; cross-training across multiple departments Work overtime as dictated by business (mandatory or voluntary) Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment Able to operate MHE Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures (varied seasons) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
Forklift training program completion Computer Skills
Basic computer skills RF Scanners WMS functions Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
English (reading, writing, verbal) Basic to intermediate math for quantities and inventory checks Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work with minimal supervision Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Physical Demands
Occasionally: hand and finger manipulation, sitting, handling product; Frequently: bending; Constantly: walking and standing; Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21-50 pounds Work Environment
