Participate in compliance and consulting projects for multi-state alternative investment clients (hedge fund, fund of funds, private equity, real estate) Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide subject matter/alternative investment industry knowledge and experience Review tax calculations and information presented on state income tax returns Build and manage client relationships, and supervise, mentor, and develop staff Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent experience preparing and/or reviewing state income tax returns for pass-through and corporate entities, providing technical advice on multi-state tax issues Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or MTX, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, available from your recruiter Experience providing services to pass-through entities and a solid knowledge of relevant state tax concepts Able to foster relationships both internally as well as with clients Strong ability and desire to perform in a high-energy team environment Exceptional writing, communication, project and team management and tax research skills Compensation & Benefits
