Role Overview:
The Financial Planning Specialist position will work in conjunction with Financial Planning Consultants, in support of Eagle advisors and staff on a wide range of financial planning issues. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, comfortable prioritizing workflow, and making independent decisions for the planning team as a whole when called upon. This position will involve heavy collaboration with both internal and external business partners - being a strong team player is a must. What You'll Do:
Be the first point of contact on financial planning cases - review initial plan data with advisors and ensure the client’s current financial situation is accurate and complete. Work closely with Financial Planning Consultants to analyze cases, discuss implementation opportunities, and leverage eMoney to convey recommended strategies. Share best practices regarding case design to ensure planners and staff are engaged in an efficient and repeatable process. Deliver eMoney demos to new subscribers. Participate and deliver financial planning content at conferences, in-person visits, and webinars—particularly new planner certification training. Leverage Salesforce to record day-to-day activities. Occasional software testing for new programs and updates to existing programs. What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in finance preferred and/or equivalent experience Minimum 2+ years relevant experience Series 7 and 65/66 within 24 months of hire, CFP designation within 36 months of hire Working knowledge of Financial Planning Software (e.g., eMoney) Ability to create written and designed guidance on planning software targeted to the Financial Planners Working knowledge of Financial Planning concepts and software Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $95,500-$125,000 Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Sales bonus eligible: No Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and may participate in an incentive program.
