A hybrid, 3‑day onsite role as a
Senior Analyst of Technical Accounting
at a UHY client. The position requires a CPA, public company experience, and SEC reporting expertise. Key Responsibilities
Account for foreign exchange related activities and support month‑end close, including recording journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and supporting global finance teams. Perform net investment hedge capacity calculations to support hedge effectiveness testing. Prepare related account reconciliations and support quarter‑end financial reporting disclosures. Manage third‑party contributions to the company’s annual goodwill impairment testing process. Conduct technical research for one‑time transactions (e.g., M&A items) to determine U.S. GAAP appropriate accounting and impact on SEC filings, documenting in technical accounting memos. Assist in ad‑hoc projects, including process‑improvement strategy development and updates to accounting policies and procedures. Job Requirements
3+ years’ experience in accounting or finance; prior derivative experience a plus. BA in Accounting or Finance required. CPA strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly driven / self‑starter. Must be able to work in a team environment. Benefits
