The Role:
Within our Global Private Wealth business, we are seeking a dynamic and highly commercial portfolio strategist to join the Global Portfolio Solutions & Strategy (GPSS) team, based in New York. The role focuses on driving growth in our private offerings with major private banks and wealth management firms across US, EMEA, and APAC, primarily on Blue Owl’s Credit platform, including diversified, technology, and opportunistic direct lending strategies. The successful candidate will act as a commercial partner to the global private wealth sales team, facilitating connections between client engagements, investment teams, and marketing. They will serve as a client-facing technical expert in direct lending, capable of understanding and communicating detailed investment content to due diligence and research teams, financial advisors, and end-clients. Product Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of our credit products, their features, functionalities, and benefits. Keep abreast of industry trends, market changes, and key deal themes at the portfolio level. Support fundraising:
Provide timely information and data about our offerings, present fund updates and insights, and answer questions about market dynamics. Monitor competitive landscape:
Analyze competitors continuously and draft positioning points for the sales team. Support SME team:
Help expand fund adoption by supporting client-facing subject matter experts. Collaborate with Marketing:
Develop and execute region-specific sales and educational content, including market commentary, product positioning, competitive landscape, and case studies. Partner with Product Development:
Evaluate new investment strategies, size new market opportunities, and suggest enhancements to our products. Market knowledge:
Possess investment and market acumen, ideally with experience in fixed income. Communication skills:
Demonstrate effective writing, presentation, and communication abilities. Cross-functional collaboration:
Proven ability to work with sales, marketing, investments, product strategy, and compliance teams. Results-oriented:
