Westfield Specialty Insurance . The successful candidate will join Westfield Group’s growing specialty insurance division. You will ensure that all team processes and objectives of our underwriting platform are met. Responsibilities
Daily contact with the Underwriter, Underwriting Assistant, brokerage community, and teammates. Review, page mark, and rate submissions. Follow up for necessary underwriting information. Maintain diary and follow up for outstanding items post bind. Policy and Endorsement issuance. Issue quotes and binders with assistant and/or underwriter guidance when necessary. Follow up for and send out renewal letters as directed. Assist with special projects as assigned. Research and answer inquiries from internal and external customers. Assist with testing and QA of systems. Qualifications
Required: College degree or equivalent work experience as an Assistant with involvement in insurance industry education preferred. Excellent work ethic and energetic personality. Ability to master multiple systems and work in a paperless environment. Adaptability to a fast-paced, high-production environment. Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills. Team-oriented approach. Preferred Skills
Strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ImageRight is a plus. Rating experience is preferred but not required. Quick learner of new software and systems. Strong multi-tasking skills. Good customer service and work ethic. Problem-solving abilities with math aptitude. Attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Additional Information:
This is an entry-level, full-time position in the insurance industry, located in Alpharetta, GA, with a salary range of $40,000 to $55,000. Equal Opportunity Employer:
