Overview
Location : 7353 E. University Drive, Mesa, AZ 85207 Status : Full-Time Salary : Starting at $23 to $25 per hour; based on experience Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable cycle with strong organizational skills. The role also includes auditing residential lease documents, making experience in the residential real estate industry highly desirable. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple accounting and administrative tasks efficiently. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Processing Accounts Payable invoices while adhering to all internal procedures Managing the timely payment of all payables Responding to vendor inquiries Maintaining vendors’ certificates of insurance and other compliance documents Auditing property lease files for accuracy and completeness Verifying utility invoices against occupied and vacant units Calculating bonuses and commissions for leasing staff Receiving incoming mail and processing it promptly Assisting the Corporate Controller and/or Assistant Controller as needed in the preparation of various accounting reports Providing clerical and administrative support to the property management staff as needed Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Associate’s degree in accounting or at least 3 years of relevant work experience Minimum of 2 years of experience with the accounts payable process, including handling purchase orders, AP invoices, and vendor files Strong attention to detail Computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly Comfortable working autonomously; self-motivated High level of professionalism Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships Ability to meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the residential and/or commercial real estate industry Experience with the RealPage suite of property management and accounting software What We Offer
