Location: Blue Bell, PA - hybrid
Key Responsibilities
Own the standard cost calculation process for kitting operations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational realities.
Analyze logistics costs (transportation, warehousing, distribution, etc.), identify cost drivers, and recommend cost‑saving initiatives.
Review GL accounts during monthly close. Prepare and present financial and operational reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and dashboards for senior leadership.
Drive controlling processes: yearly planning process, quarterly forecasts, monthly close activities, regular pulse meetings and transformation project meetings.
Build financial models to evaluate logistics initiatives, network changes, and transformation projects across the NAM region.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to logistics spend.
Calculate and maintain logistics and kitting/packaging costs as a percentage of sales, providing visibility into cost trends and profitability.
Support the Investment Review and Evaluation (IREs) process for logistics and aftermarket packaging operations.
Assess the financial impact of logistics changes including tariffs, freight rate fluctuations, and spend variations. Provide pricing support and challenge logistics decisions with data‑driven insights.
Monitor and analyze 3PL activities and spend, ensuring alignment with budget and strategic goals.
Provide financial analysis and support for North Americas transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
Ensure that Standard Cost calculation, reporting, accounting and other financial and controlling matters are in line with SKF and local legal requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
6+ years of experience in FP&A, logistics finance, or supply chain analytics.
Strong understanding of logistics operations and cost structures, especially in manufacturing, automotive or aftermarket environments.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence decision‑making.
