Responsibilities
Prepared and record accounting transactions Ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness Ensure accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit, and collection duties Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled majoring in accounting program Broad understanding of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices Must be a student in good standing with the University The student will have either completed the Freshman year or will have completed the Freshman year when co-op begins Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Project Successful completion of drug screen required and authorization to work in the U.S. A minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0 Preferred Qualifications
Pulp & Paper industry experience preferred Accounting Experience Preferred The following Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships with both internal and external customers Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills Ability to make sound decisions through creative problem-solving, ambiguity, and change Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously Ability to read and understand technical correspondence, memos, instructions, and reports Ability to apply skills to continuous process improvement while maintaining safety Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities Pay & Benefits
Salary Range: $30.00 hr. Seniors $29.00 hr. Juniors $27.00 hr. Sophomores $25.00 hr.
