This position is responsible for assisting with general ledger record keeping in a timely manner to enable the Finance department to meet reporting deadlines. What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
Prepare various accruals and ensure proper timing and classifications of expenses Assist in preparation of financial reports and analyses of period close activities Coordinate and participate in variance review meetings during close periods Partner with FP&A and/or operation management to resolve non-reconciling items and analyze monthly activities Maintain completeness and accuracy of the general ledger accounts on a monthly basis through account reconciliations Review and assist in ownership of treasury, billing and accounts payable Assist as needed on projects, such as internal and external audits Assess and analyze areas for process improvements Qualifications (Minimum)
3+ years of experience in corporate accounting Certified Public Accountant or ability to sit or plans to sit for examination in near future Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with finance systems Big 4 experience or public company experience preferred Software industry experience a plus Demonstrate working knowledge of GAAP rules and requirements Strong sense of ownership and accountability Excellent judgment and decision-making skills to work independently High level of dedication to adhering to deadlines and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to collaborate with people Highly organized with the ability to work with minimal directions and independently solve problems Education Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field CPA Employment Type
