Position Summary and responsibilities include supervising associates, communicating goals and feedback, training and developing staff, ensuring member service standards, and supporting store operations in accordance with company policies. This role involves recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates as part of daily supervision and team leadership. What you’ll do
Assist management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, and providing direction to ensure member issues are resolved per company guidelines. Support membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits; process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; promote renewals; participate in sales and marketing events; maintain required documentation; strive to meet membership goals. Provide and ensure member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding self-service technology, assisting at registers or self-checkout, and ensuring club pickup orders are filled. Oversee area by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink, maintaining supplies and parking lot cleanliness; assist members with transporting items as needed. Complete accounting records and required documentation; manage funds for register operation; create and interpret financial reports; assist with investigations; prepare deposits and cash transfers; investigate overages/shortages and maintain confidentiality of financial/personal information. Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; analyze information, monitor progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Promote compliance with company policies and ethics; explain and demonstrate policy application; support Open Door Policy and assist management with addressing ethics and compliance issues. Lead and participate in teams, determine customer needs and priorities, coordinate work, provide feedback and support, and model adaptability to change. 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register) AND 6 months customer service experience Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications
