Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a
Senior Billing Coordinator
to join its growing New York billing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full billing cycle, including proformas, edits, final invoice generation, and submission through eBilling platforms.
Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and firm policies.
Collaborate with attorneys to resolve billing discrepancies and provide billing status updates.
Monitor unbilled time and ensure timely submission of invoices.
Handle re-bills, write-offs, and adjustments as needed.
Support monthly and year-end billing close processes.
Partner with collections to help manage A/R follow-up as necessary.
Qualifications:
3–5+ years of
legal billing experience
in a law firm environment.
Hands-on experience with
Aderant
(required).
Familiarity with eBilling platforms such as Tymetrix, Legal Tracker, or Collaborati.
Excellent attention to detail, professionalism, and organization.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well across teams.
