The Claims and Payment Entry Manager is responsible for overseeing accurate and timely submission of claims and payment entries for both insurance and patient transactions. The role ensures strong team performance, process efficiency, and compliance. The manager actively partners with other departments to address billing barriers, monitor for delays, and identify trends that may disrupt reimbursement. In this role, you represent the Zynex brand. This means you are responsible for providing a world-class experience to all “customers” in every interaction, every time. Every decision made must align to our mission, vision, and strategy. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership & Department Oversight: Supervise the Claims and Payment Entry teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and entry of all insurance and patient payments. Model aligned leadership behaviors and enforce company policy with professionalism and consistency. Oversee the processing of EDI and paper claims, rejections, and payment applications across all payers. Ensure accuracy and compliance in claim submissions, write-offs, posting of payments, denials, and memo documentation in ZBS. Partner with Accounting, Billing and Patient Support teams to quickly resolve claim/posting issues and bottlenecks. Monitor payer mapping in Availity RCM and review eligibility reports regularly. Perform regular audits to identify patterns or errors and implement process improvements accordingly. Deliver a seamless onboarding experience from NHO into the department, including structured first week plans. Continuously train staff on claims processing, payment entry, EOB interpretation, and policy compliance. Identify training needs and collaborate with leadership to provide timely support and resources. Deliver frequent, constructive feedback on individual and team performance. Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration Identify and implement opportunities to enhance team efficiency, quality, and output. Work collaboratively with other Billing Managers and leadership to resolve patient and insurance issues. Drive consistency in departmental procedures and support change management initiatives. Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional office environment and follow all Company policies consistently. Maintain a consistent presence in the home office for at least 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, a minimum of 8 hours per day). Any exceptions must be approved in advance by your direct manager. Other duties, as assigned. Experience & Education Required: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years of management experience, supervising a team of 5+ employees Physical & Environmental Requirements: Computer Intensive Tasks (95% of shift): Repetitive Strain:
