Job Purpose
To perform Quality Checks on manufactured automotive products. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Performs a non-repetitive function of auditing incoming raw materials and auditing products at different operations within the plant. Follows verbal and written instructions and blueprints to determine dimensions. Enters amounts and types of rejects, daily production, and gauge calibrations into PC. Checks parts at line. Writes scrap, green 'On Hold' tags, and deviations. Conducts in process audits, capability studies, gauge R&R, and dock audits. Verifies correct paint procedures, rust preventative application, correct part number stenciling, and correct part number on pallet. Checks paint thickness. Maintains files containing control plans, flow charts, ISIR, shippers, and certifications. Files all process drawings. Checks work using Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Step Gauges, Bore Gauges. Operates forklift to move parts. INDHT
