Operating as a dedicated single-manager platform, the firm employs a fundamentally-driven, long/short equity strategy across the biotechnology and broader healthcare landscape. Known for its disciplined research process and collaborative culture, the firm is seeking a talented analyst to join its investment team. Job Description As an analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating public healthcare/therapeutics investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong scientific foundation, paired with solid fundamental investment framework. You will collaborate directly with the portfolio manager and contribute to idea generation, risk assessment, and portfolio construction. Key Responsibilities Conduct deep fundamental research on healthcare/therapeutics companies, including clinical pipelines, trial data, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning. Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuations. Monitor relevant medical and scientific publications, FDA announcements, and industry events. Attend earnings calls, KOL calls, and conferences to gather insights. Generate differentiated, actionable investment ideas. Collaborate with colleagues to develop high-conviction theses and share scientific insights. Prepare concise, data-driven materials for internal discussions and portfolio reviews. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (PhD, MD) in life sciences or healthcare-related fields is strongly preferred. 3+ years of experience on the buy-side. Strong knowledge of the sector, with a scientific foundation in biology, immunology, oncology, or a related field. Excellent analytical, modeling, and valuation skills. Ability to distill complex scientific data into investment-relevant insights. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
