Insurance Collector Specialist at St. Thomas Surgery Center Clarksville Key Responsibilities
Work A/R reports to collect outstanding balances from insurance carriers. Advocate for reimbursement by following up on denied or delayed claims. Accurately validate and enter patient and insurance information into the appropriate system. Communicate with physician offices and insurance companies to resolve claim issues. Conduct patient follow-ups as needed. Provide coverage for registration duties when necessary. What We Offer

High School graduate or equivalent. Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work under pressure Excellent office etiquette. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of the payment processing of a claim under a managed care contract. Computer skills.
