Responsibilities

Estimate HVAC and/or plumbing work for residential new home construction. Read and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Prepare precise and accurate estimates with strong attention to detail. Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects with strong time management and follow-through. Communicate and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders. Utilize estimating software and tools (e.g., Buildertrend, ProEst, QuickPen, Manual J, or similar). Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, etc.). Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Work Schedule: This full-time construction estimating position typically works 8.5-hour shifts on Monday - Friday; hours may vary based on business needs. Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience as an HVAC and plumbing estimator, preferably within the new home construction industry. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and be motivated with strong time management, analytical and follow-through skills. Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, installation processes, and industry standards. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare precise, accurate estimates. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with estimating software and tools (e.g., Buildertrend, ProEst, QuickPen, Manual J, or similar software). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, etc.) and/or other relevant software programs.
