Role Summary This is a front-line deal-sourcing position. As an Investment Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be to relentlessly pursue off-market opportunities through cold calls, emails, and broker relationships. Your day-to-day will be dominated by outbound outreach—identifying owners, brokers, and decision-makers who control properties with untapped potential.
This is a hunter role, not a desk job. You’ll learn how to grind, pitch, and close.
Responsibilities
Proactively source off-market acquisition opportunities via cold outreach and broker networking
Underwrite and evaluate potential deals for internal acquisition
Track lead pipelines and manage CRM or database tools to stay organized
Build relationships with New York City brokers, owners, and buyers
Package and present deals to buyers when internal acquisition is not a fit
Continuously expand your knowledge of neighborhoods, zoning, comps, and deal trends
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field
1–3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment sales, or related brokerage role
Strong communication and sales instincts—you should be comfortable pitching and negotiating
Solid understanding of basic real estate underwriting and investment concepts
Highly self-motivated with the discipline to generate and manage leads independently
Knowledge of New York City real estate market is a strong plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
