Restaurant Manager KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Guests, Kitchen Staff, Stewarding Staff, F&B Staff Job Description Server assistants must move quickly and efficiently, maintaining constant communication with the server to ensure every guest's needs and special requests are met. The assistant is the backbone of the service team, ensuring the basics of service such as water service, table resetting, and overall guest satisfaction. Requirements Excellent critical thinking and decision‑making skills. Maintain tact and composure under pressure. Work flexible hours, including off‑hours, weekends and holidays. Take initiative and exhibit flexibility. Follow all departmental policies, service procedures and standards. Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly through service. Maintain equipment correctly. Provide accurate information on hotel services and local attractions. Share exemplary guest service through interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral. Responsibilities Maintain a professional attitude and courteous demeanor. Prepare service stations and perform assigned side work duties before, during, and after the shift. Follow proper service procedures. Maintain communication with other team members and front door staff. Practice table maintenance with the guidance of the server throughout the dining experience in an unobtrusive manner. Use body language, facial expressions, eye contact, and non‑verbal cues to gauge guest satisfaction. Practice hands full to hands out. Assist neighboring teammates. Reset tables within two minutes of guests' departure. Bus courses in accordance with Restaurant Service Standards Reference. Complete any tasks as directed by management, adjusting to changing duties and assignments as needed. Work Conditions Noise level is usually loud. Stand, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, taste or smell. Walk frequently. Preferred At least 2 years’ experience in a high‑volume, upscale dining environment. At least 1 year of hospitality sales and management experience. High school diploma or equivalent.
