manufacturing and distribution sector
is seeking an experienced and hands-on
Accounts Payable Manager
to oversee full-cycle AP operations across multiple business units. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in inventory-related transactions, multi-entity coordination, and system-driven AP processes.
What You’ll Do As The AP Manager
Manage day-to-day AP functions across multiple locations The AP Manager will review received-not-invoiced reports and ensure invoice accuracy and contract compliance Process and oversee vendor invoices, credits, payments, and inquiries Lead weekly check runs, ACH imports, POSPAY uploads, wire transfers, and returned payment resolutions Ensure timely 1099 reporting and assist with audit and compliance processes The AP Manager will collaborate with the AP Manager on process improvements and system transitions Support and guide the AP team by answering questions and troubleshooting issues The AP Manager will partner with cross-functional teams to improve workflow and maintain internal controls Handle inventory-related AP transactions and rent payables
What You Bring
5+ years of AP experience, including team supervision and multi-entity processing Industry experience in manufacturing and/or distribution is required Solid understanding of inventory-related AP and general ledger impact Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
Additional Details
Must be comfortable working across multiple locations (supporting both in-state and out-of-state teams) No banking or financial services backgrounds, please—industry-specific experience is required
