Description: The Senior Façade Specialist I is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and preparing design solutions, while providing construction administration for exterior building envelope components, including walls, fenestration, roofing, and waterproofing. Duties include: Perform field inspections and write summary reports for exterior building projects to deliver façade and building envelope systems that address architectural intent, long term performance, constructability, sustainability, scheduling, and budget; Create, design and submit for further review shop drawings, product data, test reports, etc.; Report concepts and ideas graphically in the form of drawings or diagrams; Communicate with internal and external parties regarding project deliverables/ milestones and risks to exceeding scope; and Review the work of junior teammates for accuracy prior to submission of related documentation. Remote work allowed 2 days a week. The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $96,000. Minimum Requirements : Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field (foreign equivalent accepted) and 3 years of experience in architectural or structural engineering positions, or closely related. Also requires 2 years of experience in each of the following: Using/applying Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu; Performing building envelope inspections and forensic investigations; Working with at least 5 of the following systems/materials: Roofing, Below-Grade Waterproofing, Above-Grade Waterproofing, Curtain Wall, Window Wall, Punched Windows, Brick, Metal Panel Cladding, or Precast Concrete/ GFRC/ Stone Cladding; Working with at least two of the following: Statics, Façade system design, Thermal transfer, COMcheck energy analysis, Envelope portions of building and energy codes, Perform code research independently, Glass products and processing, or Waterproofing/ roofing. Experience may be gained concurrently. Qualifications: Education

Required: Bachelors in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field Experience

Required: 3 years:

3 years of experience in architectural or structural engineering positions, or closely related. 2 years:

2 years of experience using/applying Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu 2 years:

2 years of experience performing building envelope inspections and forensic investigations; 2 years:

2 years of experience working with at least 5 of the following systems/materials: Roofing, Below-Grade Waterproofing, Above-Grade Waterproofing, Curtain Wall, Window Wall, Punched Windows, Brick, Metal Panel Cladding, or Precast Concrete/ GFRC/ Stone Cladding 2 years:

2 years working with at least two of the following: Statics, Façade system design, Thermal transfer, COMcheck energy analysis, Envelope portions of building and energy codes, Perform code research independently, Glass products and processing, or Waterproofing/ roofing Experience may be gained concurrently.
