Intuit is seeking a dedicated TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Expert for a seasonal opportunity at new TurboTax locations across the United States. This role combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs and empower them to achieve positive financial outcomes. About the Role
You will work on‑site from a TurboTax location, serving customers in person and virtually using Intuit TurboTax products. You will provide full‑service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to demonstrate understanding of each customer’s unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical to alleviating stress. You will assist with simple W2 filings, navigating life events, and handling more complex tax scenarios such as business income, amendments, or investments. You will also play a key role in growing TurboTax’s client base within the local community, establishing long‑term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. What You’ll Do
Provide Tax Expertise – Deliver hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations and maximizing deductions while providing future tax planning advice. Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – Act as the local face of TurboTax, actively engaging with prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long‑term clients through proactive outreach and local events. Educate and Communicate Confidently – Represent TurboTax in the local community, hosting learning events, participating in local marketing efforts, and demystifying taxes. Build Relationships – Connect with people, demonstrate empathy, and build long‑term trust that turns a one‑time transaction into a loyal, multi‑year relationship. Deliver a Best‑in‑Class Customer Experience – Create an exceptional customer experience, interacting with customers both in person and via Intuit’s video communication tools to help them overcome tax‑related challenges. Who You Are
Active credentials (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney) with strong tax preparation experience. Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230. Willingness to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location. Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus. Experience providing holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing. Attributes & Skills

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong base pay and performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position varies by location: Bay Area California: $30.60 - $36.10 Southern California: $30.60 - $36.10 Colorado: $29.20 - $34.50 Hawaii: $30.60 - $36.10 Illinois: $29.20 - $34.50 Maryland: $29.20 - $34.50 Massachusetts: $30.60 - $36.10 Minnesota: $26.20 - $30.90 New Jersey: $30.60 - $36.10 New York: $30.60 - $36.10 Ohio: $26.20 - $30.90 Vermont: $29.20 - $34.50 Washington: $30.60 - $36.10 Washington DC: $29.20 - $34.50 This position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
