Sr Technical Recruiter / Talent acquisition @ Seneca Resources Hello, Position Status: Contract Position Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Reporting Analyst to support the monthly close process and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements for equity investments and subsidiaries. In this role, you will prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and assist with consolidated and discrete financial reporting. You will play a vital role in supporting audits, maintaining internal controls, and leveraging financial systems to optimize reporting processes. Key Responsibilities

Support monthly financial close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and discrete financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tight deadlines (2-day close). Conduct variance and trend analysis to provide meaningful insights for stakeholders. Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Stockholders’ Equity, Cash Flow, and MD&A footnote disclosures. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support annual and internal audit processes; prepare schedules, reconciliations, control narratives, and reports as needed. Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting systems, utilizing financial reporting tools such as Planful, Workiva, and Oracle. Continuously seek process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline financial reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in financial close and reporting, preferably in a corporate or investment environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial statement preparation. Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools (Planful, Workiva, Oracle, or equivalents). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with auditors, stakeholders, and team members. Commitment to maintaining integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in all financial processes.
