Our esteemed organization, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Senior Accountant to join the finance department. You will be responsible for a diverse range of accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger, account reconciliation, budgeting, cost accounting, and the preparation of financial statements. Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensure accuracy and timeliness with account reconciliation and financial reporting. Develop and maintain periodic financial reports, ensuring they comply with company policies and accounting principles. Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Coordinate the budgeting process and work closely with various departments to plan, budget, and forecast future financial performance. Implement and oversee cost accounting procedures, analyze manufacturing costs, and recommend changes to improve profitability. Assist with internal and external audits, ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards. Evaluate and improve systems and procedures for financial record-keeping, aiming to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger, account reconciliation, budgeting, cost accounting, and preparing financial statements. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Compensation and Benefits
