LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join the leadership team in Chester County, PA. This is a key role responsible for overseeing all day-to-day accounting operations in a dynamic and fast-paced retail/eCommerce environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership experience, and a passion for process improvement and team development. CPA is required. Industry experience MUST be retail or ecommerce. B2C experience needed. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the accounting function with a large emphasis on Inventory Accounting (500K+ SKUs). Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Supervise and mentor a large accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls. Partner with the CFO to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes to support business growth and scalability. Manage external audits and coordinate with tax advisors and other external partners. Qualifications

CPA REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree a plus. Minimum of 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and GAAP. Experience in retail or E-Commerce and B2C. Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Compensation & Benefits
