As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will begin by obtaining Securities Industry licenses, with dedicated classes for SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 exams. You will learn foundational skills to build and manage client relationships, assess a client’s financial picture, and provide guidance and solutions. After achieving milestones, you will work in a financial center delivering core banking, investment solutions, and client care. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey. Progression: once you are licensed as a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you may advance to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, continuing to grow client relationships. The Academy supports ongoing development across roles within Bank of America and Merrill. We’ll help you: Build a successful career at Bank of America through world-class training and onboarding programs. Receive training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers. Grow your knowledge by using a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and provide appropriate solutions. Earn your SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66) with structured lessons and study time. Obtain SIE within 30 days of hire and Series 7 & 66 within 120 days. Build your network by engaging with banking customers, small business owners, and high-net-worth clients. Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, client reviews/presentations, and recommended strategies to help clients achieve goals. Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to meet client needs. Required Qualifications: Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses. Self-discipline in managing time and capacity. Experience in cultivating client relationships and identifying needs. Strong collaboration and communication with peers. Results-driven mindset with client interests in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
