Our rapidly growing Nashville-based firm is seeking an accomplished
Controller
to join the leadership team. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead a talented accounting group, partner cross-functionally with executives, and directly contribute to the company’s next phase of growth. If you’re a builder who loves scaling processes, mentoring others, and driving results, we’d love to meet you. Job Description (What You’ll Do) Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; deliver clear insights and KPI dashboards to leadership Oversee AP/AR, payroll, cash management, and treasury activities to ensure liquidity and working-capital efficiency Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX-aligned procedures; reduce risk and improve accuracy Manage external audits and tax compliance in partnership with third-party firms Optimize the ERP/accounting stack; streamline workflows and automate reporting where possible Partner with Operations, Sales, and HR to support pricing, margin analysis, inventory/costing, and strategic initiatives Build, coach, and elevate a high-performing accounting team; set expectations and develop career paths Drive continuous improvement across processes, close timelines, and data quality Present financial results and recommendations to executives and stakeholders with clarity and confidence Compensation & Benefits Base salary:

of progressive accounting/finance experience with strong GAAP expertise CPA and/or MBA preferred Implementation experience
