Job Summary
The Plant Quality and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager
is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) at the Lewisberry manufacturing site. The role fosters a safe, healthy, and incident‑free work environment while ensuring full compliance with internal policies, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Primary Duties
Quality Management Develop and implement the QMS to ensure products and services meet organizational and customer requirements. Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Lead risk‑based thinking activities to prevent potential causes of nonconformities. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures. Apply Advanced Quality Planning tools—including PDCA, FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, Statistical Process Capability, and Design of Experiments—to address product issues proactively. Establish an internal audit system to ensure process compliance and optimize resources. Environmental and Safety Management Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive EMS, including health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct workplace risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate hazards. Lead incident investigations, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Provide training on safety protocols and emergency response procedures for all employees. Develop a structured framework to identify, manage, and reduce environmental impacts. Leadership and Collaboration Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate quality and safety practices into operational processes. Foster a culture of quality and safety through employee engagement and training initiatives. Mentor and guide a team of quality and safety professionals, promoting professional development. Reporting and Compliance Prepare and present quality, environmental, and safety performance reports to senior management. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation related to quality assurance, safety audits, and compliance activities. Qualifications
Leadership Skills Experience leading and mentoring cross‑functional teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to design and deliver training programs on quality and safety practices. Problem‑Solving Skills Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies. Expertise in leading FMEA to identify potential design and process issues. Expertise in using 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and other tools. Interpersonal Skills Collaboration skills with diverse teams and departments. Influencing skills to motivate others to embrace quality and safety initiatives. Organizational Skills Project management experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. Attention to detail in quality and safety documentation. Strong skills in maintaining accurate records and preparing regulatory reports. Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and organizational needs. Experience responding to incidents and emergencies effectively. Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management, or a related field. Experience with industry quality structure; APQP/PPAP, FMEAs, Control Plans, Corrective Action, 5W and 8D methodology. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality and environmental system management within a regulated industry. Proven track record of implementing quality management systems and environmental protocols. Experience leading cross‑functional teams. Experience integrating ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 automotive quality management systems. Experience integrating ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Compensation
Base salary range: $92,700.00 to $135,100.00. Eligible for a bonus. Compensation depends on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geography, and internal equity. Benefits
