Description:
Compile, research, analyze, and document data, requirements, workflow processes, and functionality for the respective ETS group. Develop and evaluate information and prepare recommendations. Partner with the business and Technology Product Owner (TPO) in the creation, management, and maintenance of product boards and product backlogs.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate leadership within the product team and Analyst team through new ideas, leading improvement efforts, oversight of other TPAs, and providing PAR input
Operate at senior-most product level in partnership with TPO and/or manage the most complex, high-profile product efforts
Partner with TPO for overall product board/backlog creation, maintenance, and management; order backlog items to best achieve goals and optimize the value of each sprint
Demonstrate significant creativity and variety of approaches to solving business and technical problems
Clearly present status and issues in a variety of oral and written formats, and lead product meetings
Author a wide variety of user stories/features/product backlog items; provide critical feedback to other stories/features/backlog items
Liaise between product team and business area
Conduct requirements analysis and validation, ensuring requirements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards
Solve business problems by defining systems solutions via interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating alternatives, and presenting findings
Manage large projects/product lines either solo or by leading a team of Analysts
Recognize and proactively raise issues or risks along with well-considered solutions
Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements using variety of techniques, including interviews, document analysis, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and diagramming
Create and communicate artifacts translating business needs into executable requirements
Continually seek opportunities to improve and increase level of industry/domain-specific knowledge by remaining current with emerging products and technical updates; identify relevant training needs and opportunities to management
Mentor and guide Interns, Contractors, and other Analyst staff
Present project, product, or other material in meetings as needed
Build and maintain a useful network across ETS and business
Push the status quo when such is outdated or ineffective
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Hands-on experience conducting requirements analysis, validating, ensuring requirements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards
Experience representing requirements using alternative views, such as epics/features/stories/product backlog items, models, diagrams, prototypes, or scenarios, to facilitate communication to the project/product team
Ability to track and manage requirements status and changes throughout project/product lifecycle via board/backlog management and maintenance
Experience eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements using variety of techniques, including interviews, document analysis, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and diagramming
Proficiency in creating and communicating artifacts translating business needs into executable requirements
Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO), including writing and managing Epics, Features, and Product Backlog Items (PBIs)
Extensive experience with data querying, reporting, and analysis, comfortable recommending solutions to problems
Extensive experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio; ability to create polished and professional artifacts and deliverables
Demonstrated competence in planning, organization, and multi-tasking of large and complex efforts
Substantial experience leading, guiding, and coaching teams of staff and contractors
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals via expert organizational, planning, and time management skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
Certifications in MS Azure Cloud Fundamentals, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
