Locum Tenens – Critical Care

An advanced 300-bed hospital in Tennessee is seeking a Critical Care Physician to join their ICU team on a locum tenens basis. This Level II Trauma Center sees a diverse range of critically ill patients and provides top-tier care with the help of a dedicated team and cutting-edge technology. Key Responsibilities : Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, handling complex conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction. Perform critical bedside procedures, including intubations, central line placements, and ventilator management. Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, and other specialists in a high-acuity environment. Participate in daily rounds and offer leadership in clinical decision-making. Annual Patient Volume : 60,000 patients per year. Shift Options : 12-hour shifts with both day and night options available. EMR System : Meditech. Scribe Coverage : Yes, assisting with patient documentation. Housing & Travel : Full travel and lodging covered for the assignment duration. Licensing & Credentialing : Full support provided, including malpractice coverage.
