Network Engineer II
to join our team in
Crane, Indiana . This is an
onsite
position. Responsibilities
Design and implement complex network solutions that drive innovation Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve advanced network issues quickly and efficiently Optimize network performance and security to meet the highest standards Mentor junior network engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering growth Participate in strategic planning to shape the future of our network infrastructure Provide technical expertise in the management of public and/or private networks such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), and public switched telephone networks Plan, design, install, maintain, monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, modify, and support network communications systems to provide maximum performance and availability Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent education; years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience in network engineering In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, and VLANs Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS Experience in multi-level security networks including cross-domain solutions Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CCNP or equivalent Master’s Degree Knowledge of automation and scripting tools like Python or Ansible Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V Project management skills to lead initiatives from start to finish Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical projects Clearance Requirements
Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance. Physical Requirements
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
